Day Trip Itinerary - New York to Washington, D.C. by Train

• New York to Washington DC: Complimentary Hotel Pick up to Penn Station for guests staying in Midtown Manhattan from hotels located between 23rd and 74th Streets ONLY. Guests not staying in the midtown area can wait at one of the Midtown Area Hotels and pick up will be scheduled from that hotel. Transportation to the midtown pick-up point will be the responsibility of the passengers. Pick-up time at your hotel will be early am, between 5:45am and 8.00am depending on train schedule.

• Arrival in Washington DC: Upon arrival in Washington, meet your Gray Line representative at The Union Station Gray Line Office. You will receive your Hop On Hop Off Tickets and food voucher for lunch - redeemable at the the Union Station Food Court. Travel time One way from NY to DC is approximately 3.5 - 4 Hours.

• Washington DC Sightseeing: Hop On Hop Off Tickets: Guests will have about 4 Hours of Sightseeing time in Washington DC. See the sights of Washington, D.C. aboard an open-top double-decker bus. This tour operates as a hop-on, hop-off tour that encompasses 25 stops throughout the nation’s Capital. • Washington DC to New York: Return to Union Station in the late afternoon. Guests will be advised their return time upon confirmation. Arrive in New York at approximately 8:00pm - 9:00pm depending on train schedule. Travel time One way from DC to NY is approximately 3.5 - 4 Hours.

At this time you will be provided a confirmed pick up time.  Any reservation not re-confirmed will be subject to cancellation with penalties.

After reconfirming your reservation, passengers must go to the GLNYS Visitor Center - located at 777 8th Avenue between 47th & 48th Streets - ONE DAY PRIOR to departure date, between 9:00am and 7:00pm to exchange your voucher for your travel documents and other important information.

Black Out Dates:

• This tour departs daily except for July 3 & 4, Thanksgiving, December 25 and New Year’s Day.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 7 Days in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 24 - 48 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 3 Days of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 3 Days are charged a minimum $75.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
