The online booking and voucher system was good for Super Shuttle airport pick up. However, the actual activity took over 3 hours to get me to my hotel downtown. It took over 3/4 of an hour and 2 calls for pick up before the driver arrived for me at JFK even though I listed my arrival information. Then the driver acted annoyed, picked me up, picked up someone else further down the platform, picked up at other terminals then drove back around to my same pick up point where we again waited 1/2 hour for someone else. It took over 3 hours! I have used super shuttle before and never had this problem. It may be cut backs or some other problem? In any case there were no explanations or apologies from the driver or from Super shuttle. I did not use them on the way back home!Denise C., Canada, 07-2011

The super shuttle from JFK to Penn Station New York was poor by any standards. My group had a delay in the airport and needed to move fast to pick up a rail connection to Philadelphia. We had given ourselves 3 hours to connect.Easily found the 'ground transportation' desk. Only one person manned the desk for transport and took a little time to offer us the shuttle which took 30 minutes instead of his 20 minutes to appear. The driver had a passenger already in the shuttle who we found out during our drive from terminal 3 was on the wrong shuttle. He was taken to T2 and we picked up 2 more passengers from that terminal which we suggested to the driver overloaded the vehicle by 1 passenger (not enough seatbelts).The rest of the journey was uneventful but being in the rush hour took ages.David A., United Kingdom, 06-2010

Travelling from Australia to New York on my own, I was a bit worried as to how to get from JFK airport to my hotel, but the Shuttle pick up from the airport was so smooth and amazingly easy... I basically walked off the plane onto the Shuttle and was at my hotel in about half an hour, compared to a huge taxi fare in probably not much of a quicker time... When I made my reservation I did not know what time we would get off the cruise ship so I just picked the time of 9:45. I was told if we got off earlier we could take an earlier shuttle but none came by that were going to JFK. We got out of the arrival hall at JFK airport. At that same moment a gentleman came up to us asking whether we had booked the supershuttle form the airport to our hotel, which we had. I have to say this was absolutely perfect. No waiting, the bus was right in front of us and also left right after we got in. Obviously i have no idea how long the people in the bus had been waiting as the bus was full once we got on. We were also the second ones to be dropped off at the hotel, which was perfect too! Overall we had an excellent experience taking this bus from the airport (JFK) to the hotel. The only thing which i found unsatisfying, is the fact that if you want to book a 2 way ticket, so back to the airport, you can not insert a different date, so it looks like you are booking a trip back on the same day you arrive. Also, it is not possible to arrange a time of pick up. So unfortunately we thought it was to risky to book the same shuttle back a week later. The driver arrived at the hotel 10 minutes before the agreed hour and did not help us with our luggages. He almost did not speak English, so was not able to understand what we said. he was not able to organize the trip well. Although there was an empty seat besides him, one of the passengers (a woman) had to travel seated in her husband´s knees all the way from the hotel until the airport.
