We were 5 adults (my parents and me + two other men) and they asked the four (big) men to seat at the rear and my Mom was alone on front seats, beside the pilot. That means that we were really compressed ant it was very uncomfortable ! And not easy to move and take any pictures !... I was also a bit disappointed to do not fly right above the buildings, maybe for security reason... They take a picture of you (20 dollars !) when going in the helicopter but don't allow you to take one with your personnal camera when going out. There are lockers for your backbag. The overall impression using the VIP heliport was very poor. The chair was almost falling apart. The trip in the helicopter itself was fantastic and seeing the efforts by the staff for our safety you feel reassured that you are OK.

The flight itself was wonderful - except, the information politics of Liberty Helicopter is really poor. We were already seated in the heli and then we had to get out again without any explanation. After this we had to wait for at least 1 hour before able to mount the heli again and finally start our tour, also without any explanation or excuse. Departure Fees: A non-refundable per person Security and Facility Fee of $30.00 will be collected upon arrival at the Heliport. This fee is payable at the Heliport and are not included in the rates listed.
Children: 2 years and older must have their own seat. Children under 2 years can sit on their parent's lap as per FAA.

The Downtown Heliport is located at Pier 6 and the East River - No.6 N River Piers NY 10004. Guests should arrive 15-30 minutes prior to flight time.
Parking:

The closest parking garage to our Downtown Pier 6 Heliport is located at the South Street Seaport. We are a five to ten minute walk from there.
Helicopter & Seating:

Each of our helicopters seats up to 6 passengers plus the pilot. Liberty helicopters primarily uses American Eurocopter Products. Our state-of-the-art Single and Twin Engine Jet Helicopters are climate controlled, providing heat and air conditioning, along with an expanded cabin, comfortably seating up to seven. Those aboard enjoy spectacular sights and photo opportunities unique to Helicopter Sightseeing.
Payment:
Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.
Confirmation & Travel Voucher:
This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.
Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.
Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses. Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions. Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
