I was pleasantly surprised with this tour. I thought that it would be simply that we were taken to the Church by bus and when completed would be returned to where we were picked up. The guide on the bus was just so informative and gave a great commentary on the city of New York. Lots of useful information and very informative. I enjoyed it immensely. The tour was great. The tour guide was king, dedicated and entertaining. The mass service was fantastic. Perhaps slightly uncomfortable since we were unable to see the gospel choir from where we were sitting. The sound was astonishing though and the experience unforgettable. This tour was the highlight of my trip to New York. The guide provided the most fascinating insight into the history and culture of Harlem, which was entertaining and definitely worth listening to. Despite the freezing cold weather, which meant we were all reluctant to get off the bus, we certainly got a good view of all the important, and actually beautiful sights of this part of town. The church service provided the most welcoming, inspiring and moving Sunday morning I've experienced perhaps ever. I've wanted to do this tour since we arrived in NY 2 years ago. My mother-in-law was visiting and also wanted to try it so we booked! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. The highlight was, of course, the gospel choir and congregation...uplifting and inspirational. At one point it was so moving it left me in tears! I'll be booking again when my parents come to visit.

There were two drawbacks for me.
First, it took quite awhile for us to board the coach.
Second, I was expecting, & would have preferred, more time walking & less riding on the coach.

Important: Proper dress is required to attend the church service: no shorts or tank tops will be accepted. Children under 5 years participate free of cost when not occupying a separate seat.

Please meet at the tour office located at 690 8th. Avenue between 43rd & 44th Streets. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your confirmed tour time.

Complimentary drop-offs are offered on all late night tours and most daytime tours from uptown, down to 34th Street. The drop-offs are made along Columbus Avenue, Broadway, and Seventh Avenue.

With advance knowledge, wheelchair bound customers can be seated in the front row of the tour bus with their wheelchairs folded away in the luggage compartment of the bus. It is mandatory that someone accompany customers with special needs. A maximum of one person in a wheelchair can be accommodated per bus. Private services with wheelchair accessible transportation is available.

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard, and Discover Cards.
Confirmation & Travel Voucher:
This tour must be booked 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print voucher on your home/ office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location.Only one voucher will be created per tour acitivity for all travelers.
Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Cancellations within 72 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 72 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.
Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
