While Chelsea offers the most volume of galleries, Soho curiously manages to retain a skeleton crew of extremely high quality art spaces. From Michele Maccarone’s avant-garde outsider outpost on East Canal Street to art world maker Jeffrey Deitch’s cavernous former garage on Wooster, visitors willing to walk the extra mile will be rewarded by seeing work by some of the most talked about artists working in Europe and the U.S. Non-profit spaces including Artists Space, the Swiss Institute, and the Drawing Center add another dimension to a lively mix of artwork on display.

Our private tours allow you to make the most of your time, ushering you straight to the most talked about contemporary art of the moment or the crème de la crème of the city’s finest museums.

All tour itineraries are crafted by Merrily Kerr, an experienced art critic and writer based in New York. Kerr publishes reviews and feature articles in Time Out New York and several international art publications. She and her guides constantly visit a wide range of galleries and must-see exhibitions to map the highest quality art of the moment.

During a standard two-hour tour, we visit between eight to ten galleries within a radius of several blocks. Choose from a set itinerary, updated monthly, or allow us to craft a tour according to your interests. Our aim is to take art addicts and the art curious alike on an enjoyable trip of cultural discovery.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Confirmation of this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print voucher on your home/ office printer and present SIGNED E-Ticket voucher at the departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for NO SHOWS. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours in New York: Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses. Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.

Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
