Introducing the only harbor tour brought to you by the National Park Service.

This audio-guided tour will show you the jewels of New York including the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Brooklyn and Verrazano Bridges, Fort Wadsworth, and Castle Clinton. You will also learn about the military forts that defended the city in the American Revolution and the War of 1812.

Kathleen Turner, David Rockefeller Jr. and NPF rangers will narrate your tour as you explore the magnificent history and natural splendor of New York Harbor.

Settle into one of our plush seats and enjoy New York's storied skyline through giant picture windows. Or, go topside and feel the rush of wind. Our ADA accessible cabins are heated and air conditioned for your comfort. We even have a full-service bar - not vending machines - so you can enjoy a snack or beverage.

Each of our vessels accommodate at least 75, so bring your friends. You can even store your bike in one of our racks at no extra charge.

Exciting tours of the New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty, departing daily from the South Street Seaport. Our quick and nimble vessels will take you to places that other harbor tours can't reach and still offer the classic views of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline that make a tour of the New York harbor such a special and memorable experience.

What are the departure locations and times for the Harbor Tour?

Cruise departs every hour starting at 11:00am from Pier 17 at South Street Seaport

Cruise departs every hour starting at 11:15 am from Gangway 6 at Battery Park

Schedule:

January 1 - April 12th' 08: One cruise daily at 11:00am from Pier 17 and at 11:15am from Battery Park

Pier 17: April 12 - December 30th: Every hour daily from 11:00 - 5:00pm. Saturday and Sunday up to 6:00pm

Battery Park: April 12 - December 30th: Every hour daily from 11:15 - 5:15pm. Saturday and Sunday up to 6:15pm

Are animals allowed on board?

Only Assisted Life Doges and Seeing Eye Dogs - no other animals are permitted.

Can you bring bikes on board?

Yes. The crew will help you fasten them to the rail on the front deck (they cannot be brought into the interior cabin).

Are the boats accessible to the handicapped?

All our boats are designed to be ADA accessible, as are all docks that we install. We also stop at public docks, however, so if you're not sure about whether you can board at a specific location, please call ahead and ask. Wheelchairs do not have access to the top deck.

Can I bring food?

Yes, passengers may bring their own food and soft drinks. No alcoholic beverages may be brought on board.

How do I redeem my online voucher?

Print your E-ticket and present at departure point of your choice.

Do you allow smoking on the boats?

New York Water Taxi boats are smoke-free.

What happens if the weather is bad?

New York Water Taxi vessels are safe in all conditions and include a climate-controlled interior cabin. Unless announced otherwise, services run rain or shine.

Are your boats good for the harbor?

Yes. New York Water Taxis are designed with low-wake hulls to minimize impact on aquatic life and employ state-of-the-art low-emission technology. They are the most environmentally friendly boats in New York Harbor.

How many passengers do the boats carry?

We have 74-passenger vessels and 149-passenger vessels.

Can I sit on the top deck?

Yes. Coast Guard regulations limit the number of people on the top deck and seating there is first-come first-served, so be prepared to wait for a space on busy days.

Where does the tour end?

The cruise ends at the origianl starting point.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

For every booking you will receive an immediate e-mail confirmation with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print E-Ticket voucher on your home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at the departure location. This tour or acitivity can be booked on the day of your travel date.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. In the event the Tour is canceled by New York Water Taxi, the ticket fee may be refunded. Voucher valid for redemption up to the end of the year.

Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
