Empire State Building Observatory Tickets Platinum Access- Nothing else like the view from the 86th floor!

Have a Group of 20 or more guests and want to visit the Empire State Building Observation Deck without queuing in lines? The Empire State Building now offers Platinum Access Entry to groups of 20 or more. A maximum of Fifty Five guests at a time will be escorted to The Observatory, every 15 minutes at selected intervals throughout the day. Bypass lines outside the building, enjoy a dedicated security line and skip queues at the ticket booth and the Visitor Center. Enjoy EXPRESS access to The Empire State Building Observatory on the 86th Floor and spend as much or as little time at The Observatory.

• Limited to Daily Arrivals between 8:00 - 11:00am, 2:00pm - 5:00pm and 8:00pm - 11:00pm

The Empire State Buliding Observatory on the 86th Floor

At, 1,050 feet or 320 Meters, reached by high speed, automatic elevators, the Empire State Building has both a glass-enclosed area, which is heated in winter and cooled in summer, and spacious outdoor promenades on all four sides of the Building as well as Indoor and Outdoor viewing areas.

High powered binoculars are available on the promenades for the convenience of visitors at a minimal cost. The 86th floor observatory is handicap accessible.

Tower Lights: The Tower Lights change color to coincide with interesting and interactive events planned throughout the year. As a focal point for displays, gatherings, and promotions, the Tower Lights just might surprise you with how often they change! The Tower lights go off every night at 2:00am.

Observatory Audio Tour Details:

From the beginning, we decided that the "Official Empire State Building Audio Tour" should be like no other.

Tony, a life-long New Yorker and retired taxicab driver was recruited to be the voice of the tour. We call it Tony's New York. Tony's knowledge of the city, along with his own experiences, come together to produce a tour which is as warm and welcoming as it is informative. The visitor feels that he or she is being shown New York by an old friend. All of a sudden, the city which was thought to be cold and overwhelming, becomes familiar and even likable.

Tony's New York uses state-of-the-art technology that features crystal clear sound and it is simple to operate. It is separated into six segments of approximately 3 1/2 minutes each. Users can stop, re-start, and skip around from view to view.

The Audio Tour is only available for purchase upon arrival at The Empire State Building. The Audo Tour is available in Six Languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese & Spanish!

Location and Entrance:

• Main Entrance - 350 Fifth Avenue between 33rd & 34th Streets. All Visitors must use this entrance. Handicap Entrance - 34th St., the entrance between Bank of America and Hallmark Cards. Note: The 34th Street Handicap Entrance is only open Monday - Friday until 6pm. Please use the Main Entrance for all other times.

Platinum Entrance and Security:

• Bypass the lines outside the building and proceed to the dedicated security line.

• Everyone must go through the security check when entering the building. No glass or bottles are permitted to be taken to the Observatory. Cameras and camcorders are allowed but no tripods. ONLY carry-on size and style bags, suitcases, backpacks, duffel bags, luggage, etc., are permitted. We do not have a coat check, package, baggage check or holding area, so please do not attempt to bring non-carry-on style luggage to the Observatory.

• Proceed to the front of the Ticket Line at the Ticket Office and receive your confirmed tickets. Now proceed to to the Elevators for expidited access to The Empire State Building Observatory on the 86th Floor.

The 102^nd Floor Observatory:

• Admission tickets are only sold at the Observatory ticket office, located on the 2nd floor of the building, at a cost of $15.00 in addition to regular admission tickets.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

Cancellation and No Show Policy:
