Q - I am not from New York which heliport do you recommend I use?
A- All 3 heliports are easy to locate. Each heliport has specific days and hours. The VIP HELIPORT, 12th AVENUE AT WEST 30TH STREET, On the Hudson River is open everyday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Last Flight 8:30 pm. The Downtown Manhattan Heliport at Pier 6 and The East River is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 5:30 pm. Our new Paulus Hook Pier helistop in Jersey City, NJ is open everyday of the year from 9:00am to 7:00pm - Last Flight is 6:30 pm. Not all flights depart from all heliports.

Q - How many people can ride in a helicopter?
A - Each of our helicopters seats up to 7 passengers plus the pilot. Liberty Helicopters primarily uses American Eurocopter products. Our state-of-the-art Single and Twin Engine Jet Helicopters are climate controlled, providing heat and air conditioning, along with an expanded cabin, comfortably seating up to seven. Those aboard enjoy spectacular sights and photo opportunities unique to helicopter sightseeing.

A - None. The VIP HELIPORT, 12th AVENUE AT WEST 30TH STREET, ON THE HUDSON RIVER is open everyday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Last Flight 8:30 pm. Q - What times can I book my Flight ?
A- You can indicate a preferred flight time from 9:00am to 8:30pm on the order form. All online reservations must call the number on your voucher 12 to 24 hours in advance to confirm an exact flight departure time and heliport. Not all flights depart from all heliports. You will need to arrive at the heliport thirty minutes prior to the tour time you selected. Please remember last flight at Paulus Hook Pier is at 6:30pm, Downtown Heliport is at 6:30pm (5:30 pm on Saturday). The VIP HELIPORT, 12th Avenue at West 30th Street, on The Hudson River is open everyday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Last Flight 8:30 pm. Not all flights depart from all heliports.

Q - Is there public transportation to Liberty Helicopters?
A - For our Downtown Heliport please take the 1 or 9 South to the last stop in Manhattan called the South Ferry. Walk towards the South Street Seaport. We are a five to ten minute walk south of there. You can also take the N or R to the Whitehall Street Stop. By bus take the number 9 to South Street Seaport stop or the number 15 to the South Street Seaport stop. To get to Paulus Hook Pier in Jersey City you can board a NY Water Taxi or NY Waterway ferry at their many stops throughout Manhattan. You can also take the Path train to the Exchange Place stop in Jersey City. To get to our VIP Heliport at West 30th Street and 12th Avenue take any subway to Penn Station (34th & 8th). From there you can walk 4 blocks west and 4 blocks south or board the M34 bus and take it west bound to the last stop Jacobs Javits Center. The VIP Heliport is 4 blocks south from there.y City you can board a NY Water Taxi or NY Waterway ferry at their many stops throughout Manhattan.

Q - Are private tours available?
A - Yes, private tours are available. Contact our charter department and you will be able to design any route you wish.

Q - How long are your tours?
A - Our Lady Liberty and Taste of New York tours are both 5-7 minutes in length. Our Big Apple tour is 10-12 minutes in length and our New York, New York tour is 15-17 minutes in length.

Q - Is parking available at the heliport?
A - No, the closest parking area to our Downtown Heliport is at the South Street Seaport. We are a five to ten minute walk from there. There is no parking at the Paulus Hook Pier location but there is plenty of street parking and parking garages. The closest parking garage to our VIP Heliport at West 30th Street and 12th Avenue is located at 29th Street between 11th and 12th Avenues. There is sometimes parking on the northbound side of the West Side Highway.

Children that have reached their 2nd birthday must have their own seat, children under two can sit on their parents laps as per FAA.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

This Tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print voucher on your home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Call local number on your voucher 12 to 24 hours in advance to re-confirm the exact flight departure time and heliport. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged 50%. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10 per person administration fee. No shows will be charged full price. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%.

Liberty Helicopter Tours assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.
