See the legendary Apollo Theater and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Witness the beautiful acapella sounds of the ARC Gospel choir during our mid-week hour of power and hear their powerful voices singing songs of praise and share their experience.

ARC stands for Addicts Rehabilitation Center, the oldest drug-free treatment program center in New York State. The ARC Gospel choir was formed to help finance treatments for the people in the community to recover from drugs.

Tour Details:

Along the way you will see famous sights and landmarks such as the St. John the Divine, Columbia University, City College, Morning Side Heights, the Morris Jumel Mansion, Sylvan Terrace, Strivers Row and The Abyssinian Baptist Church, Sugar Hill, St. Nicholas Avenue, where Duke Ellington lived and the famed 125th street, Harlem USA, the Cotton Club, and the Apollo Theater, the Schomburg Center for research in Black Culture.

Proper dress is required to attend the church service: no shorts or tank tops will be accepted.

Tour Departure Dates:

Wednesday Year Round. Tours will NOT operate on: Memorial Day (May 26 ,2008), Independence Day (July 4, 2008), Labor Day (Sept. 01, 2008), Thanksgiving (Nov. 27, 2008), Christmas (Dec. 25, 2008), or New Years Day (Jan. 01, 2009)

Departure Point: Harlem Spiritual terminal at 690 Eighth Avenue (between 43rd and 44th Streets) New York, NY 10036

Departure Time:

We meet 15 minutes prior to tour departure. 9:00AM - 1:00 PM For English and Language Tours - French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Hotel Pickup:

Only groups of 25 or more can be picked up from their hotel within Manhattan at no additional charge.

Complimentary drop-offs are offered on all late night tours and most daytime tours from uptown, down to 34th Street. The drop-offs are made along Columbus Avenue, Broadway, and Seventh Avenue.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print voucher on your home/ office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location.Only one voucher will be created per tour acitivity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

• More than 3 days prior: no charge
• 48hrs prior: $15.00 per person per tour booked
• Less than 24hr: 100% will apply
• No shows: 100% will apply

Recommended: Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing.

Tour Guide Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
